The lamp features a base in the shape of a griffin, a mythological creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. The griffin is depicted in a seated position on a rectangular plinth. The lamp has three lights, each with a separate fabric lampshade, resembling a candelabra. The entire piece has a bronze or golden finish, giving it an antique appearance.
